Stelligent News Test Early™
May 2006

Our Kickstart Quality Risk Assessment, which calculates and ranks risks associated with:

  • Developer Testing
  • Test Coverage
  • Code Complexity
  • Build Strategy
  • Software Configuration Management Strategy
continues to keep us as busy as ever. If you haven’t already seen the updated example report on our website, check it out, as it will give you an idea of the format and depth that we provide our customers in one week.

In a few short days, the Pragmatic Bookshelf will be releasing the “No Fluff Just Stuff Anthology, 2006 Edition” which has fifteen chapters written by 13 speakers on the No Fluff Just Stuff Software Symposium series. The book covers the gamut of software development topics, from Domain-Specific Languages through Aspect-Oriented CSS to Test Categorization Techniques (authored by yours truly). This is an exciting book packed full of great reading!

Over on Qualitylabs.org, the NDbUnit project has a new short tutorial movie, which demonstrates how to utilize the library in an NUnit test. If you are currently building .NET applications, check this handy library out as it facilitates repeatability in developer tests that interact with a database by ensuring that the database's state is consistent across test execution.

Lastly, the feedback we’ve been receiving on the "In pursuit of code quality" series has been overwhelmingly positive. Take a moment and read any of the five published articles on IBM’s developerWorks and let us know what you think!

Sincerely,

Andrew Glover
President, Stelligent Incorporated
