Stelligent Announces Addison-Wesley Professional Publication: Continuous Integration: Improving Software Quality and Reducing Risk
Stelligent Incorporated announced today the publication of Continuous Integration:
Improving Software Quality and Reducing Risk,
the newest release in the Addison-Wesley Professional Martin Fowler
Signature Series,
which provides readers with practical and authoritative information on
the latest trends in software development.
Co-authored by Paul Duvall, Stelligent CTO, Andrew Glover, Stelligent
President, and Steve Matyas, the book is based on their experiences in
software development, and illuminates the critical process of continuous
integration (CI), or those concepts and practices that enable developers
to create cohesive, working software many times a day.
Continuous Integration is organized into two parts: an
introduction to CI and examination of its concepts and practices; and a
look at other effective processes performed by CI systems, including
database integration, testing, inspection, deployment, and feedback. The
book includes more than 40 CI-related practices, and examples of the
application of these practices.
For more information, visit the book’s
companion Web site, http://www.integratebutton.com.
A sample chapter is
available at http://www.awprofessional.com/title/0321336380.
The book is available through major chain and independent booksellers
worldwide and through online vendors at a suggested retail price of US
$44.99.
