Stelligent Hires Renowned Senior Software Consultant
Stelligent Incorporated today announced the appointment of John "Jay" Flowers, an industry thought leader on Continuous Integration (CI) and unit testing to Senior Software Consultant. Flowers primary responsibilites are to help customers design and implement CI environments, automated build and deployment environments and test driven development.
Prior to Stelligent, Flowers consulted on various projects leading the effort to update each with CI and automated unit testing. Before consulting, Flowers was the lead developer and trainer of developers and administrators on the EF product. Flowers began his career working as the primary network architect, engineer and administrator at Integic Healthcare Dod development facility. Flowers also designed, installed and maintained previous NT 4.0 domain supporting infrastructure for Integic Healthcare.

Flowers is an experienced software engineer and leader of the CI Factory open source project. CI Factory (www.cifactory.org) makes it easy to setup an entire build environment, integrating all the most popular continuous integrationt ools into a proven configuration with a plug-in architecture. He has also contributed to and extended NAnt, CruiseControl.NET, MbUnit, and Reflector as well as creating his own open source projects.
Beyond open source, Jay has written several papers, articles and wrote a chapter on CI Factory in the book, "Windows Developer Power Tools". Jay is a frequent speaker at conferences and user groups on CI and unit testing and writes about these topics on his blog, Jay Flowers (www.jayflowers.com).
