Greetings!

If you haven't done so already, I highly encourage you to pick up the current issue of eWeek. Coverage from the roundtable discussion we hosted during the Agile 2007 conference can be found in the Developer Solutions section. This is an excellent read!

Speaking of roundtable events, a few weeks ago, we hosted a second dinner panel during the SD Best Practices conference in Boston. With a dynamic discussion on the meaning of Agile to the challenges around implementing engineering practices, I'd say the evening was a great success!

Also, you'll want to check out the results from a survey we handed out that evening-- the results are a bit surprising.

Finally, we're pleased to announce that Stelligent has hired Jay Flowers, who some of you may know as the guy behind the CI Factory open source project. Jay brings new perspectives to the Stelligent team and we're excited that he has chosen to join us!

Sincerely,

Andrew Glover
President, Stelligent Incorporated

From CIOs, to IT decision makers, to independent consultants, there was an excellent representation of people and perspectives who attended our roundtable on Agile delivery challenges in Boston a few weeks ago.

At the end of the evening, we handed out a brief survey on the subject of Agile methodologies and their adoption rate. It was interesting to see that the majority of the participants believe CIO's don't have a solid understanding of Agile methodologies, but are open to their adoption.

We're proud to welcome Jay Flowers to the Stelligent team. Jay is an expert in Continuous Integration and the author of CI Factory, an application for setting up a CI process. He has also gained extensive experience in the open source community having contributed to and extended NAnt, CruiseControl.NET, MbUnit, and Reflector.

Beyond open source contributions, Jay collaborated on the book, "Windows Developer Power Tools" (O'Reilly, 2007), speaks at industry conferences, user groups, and is a frequent blogger. Keep an eye out on testearly.com for his thoughts on CI and unit testing!
