Stelligent President publishes CI tutorial on IBM developerWorks

Stelligent President, Andrew Glover, authored a tutorial, “Spot defects early with Continuous Integration”, which was recently published by IBM developerWorks. The tutorial, a supplement to his popular “In pursuit of code quality” series, guides you step-by-step through the fundamental concepts of Continuous Integration and demonstrates how to set up a CI process. 

The one-hour tutorial also introduces open-source tools (specifically Hudson, Ant, and Subversion) and teaches you how to properly configure the Hudson CI server to poll an SCM repository and run your build process any time a change is detected.  You’ll also discover how to use Hudson’s plug-ins to give you unprecedented visibility into your code base.
