Continuous Coaching

At Stelligent, we believe in helping our customers get going and then getting out of the way.  No organization wants to build dependencies on outside consultants for work they can do themselves.  Stelligent strongly believes in empowering our customers with skills and knowledge to achieve optimized software production with internal resources.



 We have found, though, that our continual focus on improving the delivery of highly reliable software exposes us to technologies and best practices that are constantly improving.  Many of our best customers have asked us to stay "in touch" by reviewing their ongoing processes and providing guidance and feedback regarding what continual improvements can be made.

The Stelligent Continuous Coaching service addresses this important need.  As a low-cost, ongoing engagement, Continuous Coaching helps our customers ensure they remain on track and are extending the positive trends introduced in other Stelligent service offerings. 

Stelligent will continue to help teams accelerate their ability to deliver by providing targeted coaching for CI, build, version control, developer testing, code inspection and refactoring practices. With coaching, we ensure teams their CI system and associated processes provide teams the benefits sought from accelerated delivery. Examples of services included in continuous coaching are:

  • Remote management of your CI server
  • Consolidation and analysis of code inspections
  • Recommendations for source code and test improvements (refactoring)
  • Techniques in managing software using a version control system
  • A conference call with your development team on a periodic basis
