Stelligent quoted in eWEEK and SD Times articles

Both SD Times and eWEEK.com asked Stelligent President, Andrew Glover, to share his opinions on Agile engineering topics.  "Spreading the Agile Practice" (published by SD Times) highlights the advantages when practicing agile development throughout a distributed team while eWEEK's article, "Industry Seeks Software Testing Breakthrough", weighs in on a new testing approach software developers will be seeing in the near future.

The SD Times article, authored by editor-in-chief David Rubinstein, expands on the concept that Agile processes call for frequent builds.  Glover explains that, “Continuous integration and build automation with reporting gives tremendous visibility.” That visibility, he noted, raises the level of accountability, as all can see where a problem was introduced into the code. “Is humiliation a good thing? Not necessarily, but it motivates developers to not break the build again,” he said.

Part of the eWEEK article, published by Darryl Taft , describes how targeting early testing is key.  Glover illustrates that, "Testing early is always a good thing and is one of the central tenets of agile software development, especially lean development. You 'test in' quality.  It must be built in, and testing up front uncovers those issues."
