Burke Cox
   

Burke Cox


Chief Executive Officer
As CEO of Stelligent Incorporated, Mr. Cox is responsible for overall financial and operational management of Stelligent. His primary responsibilities include business development, marketing, strategic planning, partner relations, corporate operations, capital acquisition, financial management and board relations.

He serves on the industry advisory board for the Auburn University Department of Computer Science and Software Engineering and the advisory board for the George Mason University College of Information Technology and Engineering.

 

Andrew Glover

President
As President, Mr. Glover leads the business and technology strategy for Stelligent. His primary responsibilities include the strategic development of Stelligent’s products and services and in accelerating Stelligent's position as a leader in the field of software quality.

Mr. Glover is an established expert in automated testing frameworks and tools. He is a published author for multiple online publications including IBM’s DeveloperWorks and Oreilly’s ONJava and ONLamp portals; additionally, he is the co-author of Java Testing Patterns (Wiley, 2004), Groovy in Action (Manning, 2007), and Continuous Integration: Improving Software Quality and Reducing Risk (Addison-Wesley, June 2007). Mr. Glover is a frequent speaker at Java Users Groups around the country as well as a speaker for the No Fluff Just Stuff Software Symposium group.

His interest in building quality into software with technologies that lower software bug counts, reduce integration and testing times, and improve overall code stability led him to found Vanward Technologies in 2001. Vanward was acquired by JNetDirect in 2005 and was renamed to Stelligent in 2006.

 

Paul Duvall

Chief Technology Officer
As CTO of Stelligent, Mr. Duvall is responsible for the successful delivery of client solutions, strategy, technology research, industry standards participation and customer needs analysis. He has worked in virtually every role on a software project: developer, project manager, architect and tester.

Prior to Stelligent, as CTO of Pyramid Systems, Duvall was responsible for instituting organization-wide development processes, elevating the collective talents of the technical team, and improving overall production quality. Recently, Duvall led an effort in implementing a corporate-wide build management system which included continuous integration, continuous testing, inspection and feedback. He has been developing frameworks and development infrastructure for other developers to use for years. In all positions, Duvall has acted as a change agent to improve the development processes in the organization. In 2002, Duvall developed an application security component for a clinical research data management system that is patent-pending. Duvall has consulted for clients such as the United States Air Force, Fannie Mae, Housing and Urban Development and Hospital for Special Surgery.

Mr. Duvall is a featured speaker at many leading software conferences. He contributed to the UML 2 Toolkit (Wiley, 2003), authors a series for IBM developerWorks called Automation for the people, authored a chapter in the No Fluff Just Stuff Anthology: The 2007 Edition (Pragmatic Programmers, April 2007), and co-authored the Jolt award-winning book Continuous Integration: Improving Software Quality and Reducing Risk (Addison-Wesley Professional, 2007). He is passionate about accelerating software delivery through automation.

Executive Vice President of Professional Services
As Executive Vice President, Mr. Julius helps to establish best practices and procedures to assist Stelligent's customers in accelerating the delivery of quality software. Paul's penchant for consulting and automation fits perfectly with Stelligent's specialization in getting teams up and running quickly, using testing, continuous integration, pair programming, and other leading edge ideas.

He has been consulting in the software development industry for more than ten years. He specializes in using Agile methodologies and automation to enhance a software development team's capabilities. Previous to Stelligent, Paul worked as a Senior Technologist with ThoughtWorks, Inc. He helped clients push forward and shape the Agile movement. He is a co-founder of the CruiseControl continuous integraton server team that open sourced the product in 2001.

 

Jeff Nielsen

Executive Vice President of Agile Strategies
As Executive Vice President of Agile Strategies, Mr. Nielsen plays an integral role in the company's strategic direction, development, and future growth.

Bringing more than 20 years of corporate strategy, consulting, and software development experience, Nielsen most recently was the Chief Agile Officer at Command Information (formerly Digital Focus). He pioneered Digital Focus's use of agile methods in early 2001 and was the driving force in their establishment as an industry-leading agile development consultancy. During his tenure at Digital Focus, Nielsen coached numerous teams and organizations, from startups to Fortune 500 companies, in transitioning to Agile.

He is a sought-after speaker at industry events, published online and print author, and currently serves on the organizing committee for the Agile 2008 conference
