Chairman of Stelligent Board Honored with Prestigious Community Service Award

RESTON, VA -- June 13, 2006 -- Stelligent Incorporated™, the leader in early testing solutions that eliminate quality guesswork and guarantee defect-resistant code, is pleased to announce that Mr. John "Til" Hazel Jr., Chairman of the Board of Directors of Stelligent Incorporated, was recently honored with Fairfax County Chamber's 2006 James M. Rees Award. Also honored with this award was former George Mason University President, Dr. George Johnson.

The Rees Award is named for former Chamber Chairman Jim Rees (of Rees, Broome & Diaz, PC) who died in a tragic plane crash in 1986. The award was presented on June 13th at the Patriot Center on George Mason’s Fairfax campus as part of the premier Fairfax County Chamber of Commerce annual Chairman’s Lunch. Mr. Hazel and Dr. Johnson were honored for their role in building GMU’s academic and research capabilities and for advancing the national reputation between the school and the region’s business community.

In its 20-year award history this is only the second time that two recipients have been honored. Last year’s event was the first time, recognizing Fairfax County business legends Gerald Halpin and additional board member of Stelligent, Earle C. Williams for their strong business acumen and decades-long contributions to the Northern Virginia community.

“We are very proud to have consecutive honorees involved with our operations,” said Stelligent CEO Burke Cox. “Both are an invaluable asset to our organization and the embodiment of great leaders and caliber for this award.”
