Vanward Technologies Founder Joins Stelligent’s Executive Team
RESTON, VA -- April 20, 2006 -- Stelligent Incorporated™,
the leader in early testing solutions that eliminate quality guesswork
and guarantee defect-resistant code, announced today that Andrew
Glover, founder and former CEO of Vanward Technologies, will join the
company’s management team as President. In this role, Mr. Glover will
primarily focus on the strategic development and vision of Stelligent’s
quality assurance products and consulting services.
Mr. Glover’s interest in building quality into software with
technologies that lower software bug counts, reduce integration and
testing times, and improve overall code stability led him to found
Vanward Technologies in 2001, which was subsequently acquired by JNetDirect in September 2005. His extensive industry knowledge will provide significant value to Stelligent.
Along with his impressive experience, Mr. Glover is a seasoned speaker at industry conferences including the “No Fluff, Just Stuff” symposium series. In addition, he co-authored the book Java Testing Patterns
(Wiley, 2004) and is currently co-authoring Continuous Integration:
Improving Software and Reducing Risk (Addison-Wesley, due out in late
2006). Mr. Glover is also a published author for multiple online
publications including IBM’s DeveloperWorks and OReilly’s ONJava and ONLamp portals. Furthermore, he maintains a personal weblog (http://thediscoblog.com/) where he regularly contributes his thoughts on software quality and developer testing.
